Tom Date: 11/28/16 11:54 Re: MLW Monday-At Pavilion BC Author: hoggerdoug Most of the grade on "Kelly Lake Hill" is 2 and 2.2 percent with the odd few hundred feet here and there at 2.3 & 2.5 percent. Nice image Richard, thanks for sharing. Doug

Brian E Date: 11/28/16 21:37 Re: MLW Monday-At Pavilion BC Author: feclark Breathtaking perspective - is this on the Glenfraser side of Pavilion, or up toward Kelly Lake? I only shot the BCR once, and came into Pavilion from Cache Creek. As I recall (and I'm fuzzy on this), the highway came in and overpassed the tracks (?) at the apex of a tight 180 curve, and on the downgrade side was a short siding with trans-loading facility for pressure-unloading covered hoppers. I'm trying to relate your location to the landmarks I know. Thanks.

The highway overpass that you mentioned would be behind the photographer. Pavillion is at mile 178, Glenfraser is mile 173. Doug Date: 11/29/16 16:01 Re: MLW Monday-At Pavilion BC Author: arwye Doug is right. Memory is a little foggy, but we drove down Pavilion siding as far as we could and walked the rest of the way to this vantage point. Richard
