The lake in this picture is definitely Moose Lake. This scene now is double track and the hill the track curves under to the left supports the highway that bridges over the railway just out of the scene. Nearing Redpass I don't think there is as sharp a curve but I could be wrong.
The second picture is the crossovers at English which is east of Jasper. Roger would have gone a serious hike to get this vantage point. cp1400 Edited 1 time(s).
