Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue
Author: Mberry

In a previous post I had posted shots of both CN 369 and CN X371 stopped at Dorval, Qc this past Saturday. I had mentioned that CN 369 had left first and that CN X371 followed about a half hour later. After shooting CN 369 I headed west to a vantage point I hadn't used since last summer, namely the overpass in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue (on the western end of Montreal) where Poultry Cottages Street crosses over highway 20, as well as the CN Kingston Sub and CP Vaudreuil Sub.

1-After not too long a wait, CN X371 passed with CN 2650 & CN 5779 and 98 cars.

2-A block of Winchester & Western cars was near the head end.

3-Gondola EAMX 5021 has 'Metrobec.net' written on the side, Metrobec is a scrap metal company based in St-Hubert, Qc.

4-Finally a string of autoracks brings up the rear of CN X371.

5&6-About a dozen minutes later, CN 310 appeared (much later than usual), with Dash9-44CWL BCOL 4641 in CN colors leading and CN 2224 trailing. BCOL 4641 still has its double set of ditchlights, but one of them is not working or is off.

Really nice sequence.  I have always been fond of that dual corridor along Auto Route 20.  Looks like CP was a little quiet during your visit.

As is often the case these days, unfortunately.
