Canadian Railroads > EMD 1606 on the move...still!

Hello to all...
With a thanks to TO member greshe3 we were able to get a couple of "daylight" shots today.
Thanks as well to another friend who helped with the timing.

1. A new crew is on to take the empty coal train (CP8947 East) from Kamloops to Revelstoke. (Just passed signals at Kamloops East)

2. EMD 1606 Demo unit has made a few trips now being assigned to the coal trains from South East BC to the Vanouver Ports (Sparwood and Roberts Bank)

3. Heading east 8947 and 1606 lead 152 cars and 2 DPU's.

Some great looking pictures , the rail traffic after your location got very ugly for the crew of this train I am sure to them is was like driving in rush hour traffic . Greg
