Canadian Railroads > CN in East VancouverDate: 02/18/17 11:51 CN in East Vancouver Author: loleta My new photographic obsession is CN's midday transfer from the Port of Vancouver to CN's Main Yard via the Burrard Inlet Line. Here it is at Glen Yard a few days ago, going north and then returning south. Unaccustomed to regular trains on this line, some of the locals are showing their impatience: the train had stopped briefly, but was moving again when I took the photo of this cyclist, the second of two to climb across.

Sorry, I don't remember. I'll try to remember to take and post a photo next time I'm down there. - L.F. next to Pikes Place Market in Seattle. Date: 02/18/17 20:25 Re: CN in East Vancouver Author: Mark3583 I am really curious what that passenger train is on the left side. It's not the sky train, or VIA, or even the West Coast Express. What is it??

What is it?? An Amtrak Cascades Talgo. It's the newer Type, Series 8, with a cab car at one end, as you see here. It's on Train 510, the late-morning arrival from Seattle.
