Shortline Sunday Ottawa l'Orignal 1998

Among the first Canadian shortlines spun off from Canadian National was the Ottawa l'Orignal.  Truly a "short" shortline it ran from Glen Roberston, Ontario to the Ivaco steel mill at l'Orignal.  The startup power was a pair of ex-Cartier GP9 units painted in an attractive colour scheme.  They are shown here at Hawkesbury and l'Orignal in the spring of 1998.
