These Were All Taken in Brockville, ON

The first 6 shots are of VIA 6788 and train at Brockville, ON in March 1980.  They are in the sequence Roger Puta took them.  It looks like they bare doubling the length of the train.  The 7th photo looks like it is on the other side of the depot.  Anyhow, what can you tell me to help me write captions?

....and it's where the line down from Ottawa met the Montreal-Toronto mainline. Train would be combined or split......continuing on to or from Toronto.

This was a very cool operation where the train was split into two trains or combined into one depending on which way it was running. Fans from the USA flocked to Brookville in the 80's to witness this operation since we had nothing like it in the US. Of course those MLW FPA4's and GMD F units helped draw the fans. Made the journey myself and it was well worth the time and money.
