Canadian Railroads > Anybody Know Where This Place is?Date: 03/19/17 21:00 Anybody Know Where This Place is? Author: MartyBernard Roger Puta shot CN 5531 (SD60F) and caboose 79736 in March 1980. What do you make of the load just ahead of ther caboose?
Thanks for the help, Marty Bernard Date: 03/19/17 22:02 Re: Anybody Know Where This Place is? Author: feclark Marty,
The lead unit is first 5531, a GP38-2 with spartan cab. As to what's in front of the van, it looks a lot like the framework on CN's orange 86' service flats that were used to carry panel track turnouts, although the examples I've shot don't tower so high. The number series would be 549xx, perhaps. Any other ideas out there? Fred Date: 03/20/17 00:54 Re: Anybody Know Where This Place is? Author: MartyBernard Fred, do you happen to know where the location of the photos is? Marty
