Four For Caption Assistance Please
Author: MartyBernard

These are Roger Puta's.

1. CN 9550 and 9572 in March 1980

2. CP 5548 and 4728 in March 1980

3. CP 5736 and 4565 in March 1980

4. Rail in March 1980.  What is interesting about this rail that caused Roger to take it?

Thanks,
Marty Bernard

Looks like they were taken in Newtonville ,ON east of Toronto.   Canadian guys will probably better ID the spot.  I'm just going by 20+ year memory when I would go out there once in while during the 7 years I lived in Buffalo, NY.

They all look like The Port Hope-Newtonville area.  The rail was rolled by the Sydney steel mill in Cape Breton.

1, 2 & 3 CP Lovekin siding  on the Belleville sub and the adjacent CN overbridge, approx MP 284 Kingston sub. Would guess 4 is the same place.
