Someone will doubtless ask "what and where?" is the MOLLI?

Someone might also use a search engine to provide others with a helpful link.

What if someone did that? That would be swell...

The Ilse of Rugen....near the Baltic Sea.....this was formerly East Germany..........from my memory.

Molli = Mecklenburgische Bäderbahn; mostly steam operated railway in Eastern Germany (in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern), close to the shore of the Baltic Sea

Molli is not on the island of Rugen. That is a different operation called "Rasender Roland" runs between Pitbus and Gohren. All steam worked.

Thank you for your wonderful photos. It brings back memories of my ride on the Molli in 2002 when I was visiting Mecklenburg and the home of my fathers ancestors. It was a wonderful visit and I got to experience the land of my ancestry. Dad's side was from Marlow, Mecklenburg and Mom's from Zwickau, Sachsen which has a great depot.
I was fortunate to be able to both chase and ride the Molli.

You are correct....the Molli was on the way to the Ilse, then we visited the Rasender Roland.
