The right side of the Rhine on a Saturday in March

Spent a short time on the "right" side of the Rhine between Koblenz and Bonn...a road less traveled by the tourist trade and heavy passenger action but none the less interesting. First shot is a block operator at Bad Honningen. Second a Hectorrail
leased engine also at Bad Honningen. Third is a regional train headed for Koblenz.

That is a great photo of the operator as Bad Honingen. It is rare any more to get employee photos. Sehr Gut! Vielen Dank! Bob (Krüger)

Thanks Bob. Actually he was friends with an Engineer I know on DB who is an American who learned to speak German and got into the railroad's apprentice program. Very modern in some ways and a great throwback to the past.
