Back in London
Author: 86235

Last Saturday was a really lovely spring day in London, I spent the morning out and about taking a few pictures.

At South Tottenham the 6L35 Didcot to Dagenham empty car carriers ducking under the Greater Anglia Southbury Loop commuter line

In the opposite direction Colas 66848 approaching Upper Holloway on the 6V92, empty steel carriers from Tilbury to Llanwern in South Wales, I love the variety of architectural styles along the lineside.

Hornsey and a shot which has only recently been possible, thanks to Network Rail's gardening efforts. A First Hull Trains class 180 on a Hull to King's Cross long distance train overtaking a pair of class 313s on a local. The large grey hanger like building on the right is the shell of the new Thameslink maintenance shed which will house the new Siemens built EMUs in 2017 or 18.
