European Railroad Discussion > A bit of a surpriseDate: 06/14/14 00:35 A bit of a surprise Author: 86235 Realtimetrains was showing an empty stock working from Southall in West London to London King's Cross early this morning in preparation for a steam tour to York, but what I didn't expect was that the ecs would be steam hauled as well!
So here, emerging from Crouch Hill Tunnel at Harringay Park Junction is rebuilt ex-Southern Railway light pacific Braunton, which then takes the spur up to the East Coast Mainline. DBS 67013 Thomas Telford, in Wrexham, Shropshire and Marylebone livery, brought up the rear and will lead the train into King's Cross after it reverses over the Hornsey flyover. What a nice way to start the day :-) Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 06/14/14 00:54 by 86235. Date: 06/14/14 06:47 Re: A bit of a surprise Author: hartland Great stuff!
