Our visit occurred on the second day of a "steam gala," which featured a total of seven (7), 2-foot gauge steam locomotives in service, among them:
• "Sir Tom" 0-4-0 (Bagnall / Stafford 2135 / 1929). This locomotive is in regular in service at Threlkeld Quarry & Mining Museum. • "Minas de Aller" 0-6-0 (L. Corpet 439 / 1884), visiting from Statfold Barn Railway. • "Montalban" 22, 0-4-0 (Orenstein & Koppel / Berlin 6641 / 1913), visiting from West Lancashire Light Railway. • Replica: "Statfold" 0-4-0 (Hunslet / Leeds 3903 / 2005), visiting from Statfold Barn Railway. • Replica: "Jennie" 0-4-0 (Hunslet / Leeds 3905 / 2005), visiting from Amerton Railway. • Replica: Chartley Gypsum Mines 2, "Paddy" 0-4-0 (Wilbrighton Wagon Works 2 / 2007), visiting from Amerton Railway.
