Lots of hoppers on this train from this year's Tour of Beijing bike race. Took me awhile to get these uploaded. My bad.

Interesting...that is a looong train to be British!

I wonder what kind of substance is being transported here, coal perhaps?

Alan - I don't think that was shot here, Eastern Europe maybe?

Could this be Spain?

I'm not sure about the double electrics at the point, but the colors seem to match loosely to this Renfe scheme?

I would hazard a guess that's standard gauge, which would rule out Spain or Portugal. The pictures are very indistinct but there appears to be paraphenalia on the roof, suggesting an electric. If not Eastern Europe then possibly Italy?

Hmm...double electric loco is possible in Italy...but what about the dark blue side?

Well it looks to me to be principally a light colour with dark (blue?) highlights. My first thought was Czech open access operator Metrans but I think their road power is mainly Siemens Eurorunner diesels.

So where is this anyway? It doesn't look dry enough to be Spain or Italy, but those rails do look pretty wide. Northwestern Spain/Basque Country, perhaps?
