European Railroad Discussion > Europe trip, fall 2014 an introduction

I have just spent a month in Germany and Switzerland travelling by rail and sampling light rail systems with some side trips to Austria the Czech Republic and Italy, all up over 7000 kilometres in all

over the next month or so i will present a selection of photos detailing various aspects of German and Swiss railroads as they are today

Signal Box is Milan? As are the trams? I also recognize Bertchesgarten Station (hope you went up the Eagle's Nest) and Bremen Hauptbahnhof. Looking forward to seeing much.

I was wondering about the trams also, particularly the barn pic. Great pics. Looking forward to seeing the rest. Nest time take me with you. lol.

thats correct Milan and Berchtesgarden [the Khelsteinhaus was just then closed for the winter but managed to see a few other items of interest in the Obersalzburg however on a few walks in the fresh air]
