European Railroad Discussion > Ireland in 1993 (Part 1)

My project to scan all my Irish railway photographs has reached about halfway having completed two of three visits I paid in 1993 - in April and in June - and this time to Northern Ireland, with a side trip to Dublin. So now I've pictures from 1975, 1985 and 1993 on line. They are the featured pictures on my front page.

Taken at Castlerock on the north coast on Easter Saturday 1993, an 80 class DEMU on a Derry to Belfast train.

A couple of days later at Poyntzpass in Co Down, a NIR Dublin to Belfast train behind EMD number 112

Also at Poyntzpass, but heading south a mixed freight headed by a CIE 121 class taken late in the evening of June 3rd 1993.
