European Railroad Discussion > TFL Northern Line narrow island platformsDate: 06/28/15 20:38 TFL Northern Line narrow island platforms Author: newtonville150 In London again recently, I decided to check out the last remaining underground narrow island platforms on the Northern Line. These are south of Thames at Clapham North and Clapham Common. Angel also featured narrow island platforms until rebuilt in the 1990s, and I think Euston also when orginally built. I was also lucky enough to score a cab-ride which made the experience that much more enjoyable.
1. Clapham North from platform level. 2. Clapham North from the cab southbound. 3. Clapham Common from the cab southbound. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 06/28/15 20:42 by newtonville150.
