Many trains from both Boulogne and Calais Maritime, which basically served the ships from the UK, would have through portions for destinations beyond Paris, usually the south coast or Italy. I remember making many trips around the line on such trains during the early 1970s, from the Gare du Nord to the Gare de Lyon or vice versa. Does anyone know when these connections finally came to an end? Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 07/03/15 14:47 by spflow. |
