I believe that it has been taken over by another company and will continue.

As a regular subsubscriber for over 40 years (the last 18 months being with the new publisher) I can vouch that the while the train services are not as interesting and varied as they used to be, the timetable itself is a better read than ever. The format of the new publication is identical to that of the old, and I believe that allowing it to go was an appalling example of crass corporate thinking on the part of the Thomas Cook organisiation. Unsurprisingly the new CEO who made this stupid decision has already been ousted!

It is published now as the "Eurpoean Rail Timetable" - see link below.   I have been using it for the last few months in Europe and have found it quite accurate.    It also includes major services in Asia.

What about the db website?  I haven't used it in a while but it was a fabulous source of information, not only about schedules but also about alternative routes and resources.
