Munich Stations Evacuated do to Terrorist Threat
Author: andersonb109

Two Munich railway stations including the HBF were evacuated 12/31 do to an imminent terrorist threat according to the BBC and Fox News. When will Germany wake up to the dangers of letting thousands of "migrants" into their country without proper vetting.

So you "know" that it's some migrants who are planning the attack? Really???

At 7:40 PM New Year's Eve, Munich police received a concrete tip that 7 ISIS suicide terrorists would attack one of two Munich train stations, precisely at midnight.

But were they recent migrants?  I wouldn't bet that they are.
France and Belgium have pretty large Arab and Middle Eastern populations that have been there for decades.
These are the groups that ISIS recruits from.

Seems like a bit OTT.

Take precautions by all means but I remember when the UK was being bombed by the IRA. Generally the reaction was "not again" and get on with your life. Now we seem to be scared of our shadows.

I think it was bin Laden who said that if he wanted to cause grief he would send a guy to be filmed with a flag on a beach someplace. For the price of that air ticket he would tie up troops, navies etc - all because "something must be done"

I agree with Helvnight.

I too remember the 1970s when London was being bombed by the IRA, with material paid for by romantic "Irish" Americans, and supplied by Libya, - 3000 deaths in ten years. I recall running for my life when a truck filled with half a ton of explosive was detected outside the London Transport headquarters in 1976.

Condemning terror as a bad thing as the not the same as doing something dramatic, in the same way that declaring cancer to be bad does not always lead to radical surgery! The problem must  be understood properly before any useful action can be taken, otherwise it's like stamping on a toy because it won't work.

Just because one doesn't want to ban, shoot, bomb or intern doesn't mean one approves of the evil, rather than feeling that it needs to be treated with care and intelligence. It's brains rather than brawn that wins in the end.
