It's an frosty winterday in Berlin. Two commuter trains are crossing the Spree River near Bellevue station on the way through the City. First is a bilevel pulling by an motor class 143. A lot of rail transit, but those are now in hands of Berlin fans, as I continue to clear out mountains of collection since the 1949's..
At the time, Berlin was still under the 4 county powers and much of the rr were in the Soviet zone. The "eyes" of all 4 powers were on you and I just never got into trying to find the ideal, location. Spent a lot of my time, helping to teach English to some teen agers, and now all three have passed away, while teacher is still kicking.
