Riding the NSB regional train from Stavenger to Oslo S this morning. The conductor advises that there will be a bus substitution from Kongsberg due to trackwork. Hope we make our connection to the SJ high speed train to Stockholm. Scheduled connection time is 31 minutes.

We did NOT make our connection. NSB staff were not well prepared for our train's arrival at Kongsberg -- they only had 6 hours to prepare.

Passengers in Oslo were required to walk 500 m to the central station from where the bus unloaded the passengers in the harbor. So we wound up riding the Oslo airport express and flying to Stockholm. Can't say enough good things about Norwegian Airlines. They saved our butts at a fraction of the cost to forfeit our hotel reservation in Stockholm PLUS rent another room last-minute in Oslo. Thanks, Norwegian Air!
