Apres moi le deluge
Author: 86235

After three days of record temperatures, which peaked here in SE England at 90F on Tuesday, last night brought torrential rain and thunderstorms. As a consequence of the rain there was a minor landslip on the West Coast Mainline, just north of Watford Tunnel, which derailed a London Midland Milton Keynes to London Euston local train, thankfully without any serious injuries. The London train was then 'clipped' as the BBC describes it by a northbound service.

But we are getting a lot of funny weather these days. Now I wonder what that's all about?

Whilst I didnt come across much rain, saw some lively displays of lightning on Thursday night after as I was coming home from the Southampton v Sparta Praha soccer match.
