I know Nik, 86235, covers London rail activity very well, but I took a trip down there on Friday courtesy of Virgin East Coast's seat sale. Plus, took the bike which is free of charge, and an ideal way to get around London. Those cycle super highways are brilliant. 
Phot 1 - I stopped off at Wandsworth Road and picked up 70806 working an Eastleigh to Hoo Jnc ballast job
Phot 2 - By the Thames, saw 59204 working an Acton to Purley aggregate train.
Phot 3 - A Transport for London Overground working.

Called into Paddington, and for the first time ever managed to see a line up of 5HSTs.

Time to go back to Yorkshire, but can't beat a curry at 124mph.
