Finse cam fixed + June to November images

The Finse cam is back to it's original angle!

One year ago, I made a stupid error judging a concrete ledge and broke my collar bone.  It ruined a trip to Moab and I was pretty depressed about it.  However, someone here posted the Finse webcam link (http://www.bt.no/tv/#!/video/100521/finse-stasjon )
and it really helped cheer me up.  I love snow and seeing European freight operations. So I followed it pretty closely this year, as you may have noticed.

To wrap up my year of coverage, a few last images documenting the end of "winter" in June, a very brief summer, and then the return of the snows.

1. June 17, 2016 10:04pm Finse time. Still lots of snow left.
2. July 29, 2016, 11:23pm Finse time. Still some light in the sky as a MOW vehicle runs past the camera.
3. August 31, 2016. As the days start getting shorter, I started watching the passenger trains in the late afternoon.

4. Sept 2, 2016. 7:17pm Finse time. A somewhat rare double header
5.  October 10, 2016. The snows return and this shot at 630pm shows the darkness approaching again. A couple shiny yellow wagons on the delivery to Finse.

Finally, this evening on November 21 (fixed).  Meet at Finse in deep snow.

Again, grateful to whoever showed me this webcam.  It has been wonderful watching.

I have taken the train thru Finse on the way to or from Bergen several times because my daughter and her family live in Norway. It's increadibly beautiful and the webcam brings the trips back to me in wonderful ways.

I think you mean November 21?

I agree, I too have been watching this webcam since being introduced to it a year or so ago (maybe it was a post you made?!)  I also found videos on You-Tube of the entire route from Bergen to Oslo from the head end  that I have been watching in segments when I have a little free time.  Sure a lot of tunnels on the route, and indeed, it is a beautiful route.  Thanks for the recap of the past year.

Very interesting!  What is the long gray building in the background that the trains pass through?

Looks like a snow shed.

Yes, the shed covers the interlocking plant at the end of the siding.
