First picture of the year, taken yesterday at Old Linslade some 40 miles north of London. The 6M45 from Dollands Moor (the Channel Tunnel reception yard) to Daventry carrying Evian mineral water, one of two revenue freight trains running on the southern stretch of the West Coast Mainline yesterday. 66041 has just been repainted from EWS into the new Deutsch Bahn Cargo livery.

Happy New Year Chris - someone certainly is, the train consisted of 22 of the IZA twin van sets, 44 vans in total.
