European Railroad Discussion > Beillhack railway snow clearer in RussiaDate: 02/05/17 08:14 Beillhack railway snow clearer in Russia Author: leonz Greetings from a very cold New York State where hot coal furnaces,
boilers and hot coal stoves are a welcome. I was wondering if anyone had current or recent photos of the self propelled Beilhack HB1200S snow clearer that is used by the Russian State Railway? I am sure it sees a lot of use from Moscow to Vladivostok. I certainly hope it was not scrapped for cash or sold for cash as it was not that old. Edited 2 time(s). You might try asking on the International Board for Siberian info. Ted in OR Date: 02/07/17 06:18 Re: Beillhack railway snow clearer in Russia Author: leonz Thanks I did not think about parking it over there. I have been looking for the
Beilhack narrow gauge snow clearer that was sold to the japanese railway folks and I am not sure if it was sent to work on Hokkaido Island or the north end of the main islands. |
