British Steam question
Author: CPRR

Watching Thomas the Tank Train the other day....(don't ask why). Anyway, there is a "live segment" with a man explaining railroad parts and procedure. It is filmed on a 2 foot gauge I think, the only clue is the station Alston appears at the beginning. What railroad is this? They also go to a miniature railroad, looks like 15" pulling public on a long line, lots of steam. Any clue about this one?

Thanks

South Tyndale Railway in Cumbrian, rebuilt on part of the old Haltwhistle to Alston standard gauge branch which closed in the mid 1970s.
