Railroaders' Nostalgia > AFT Maps Pittsburgh to BrackenridgeDate: 07/10/14 10:12 AFT Maps Pittsburgh to Brackenridge Author: BoilingMan July 11, 1976
I don't have the AFT Synopsis for this move, but it had to have been pretty simple- only about 25 miles! Easily the shortest move. The press would have made the entire trip. The T-1 could not have taken coal while in Pittsburgh, so would have been needing fuel. I don't know if this was done before or after the move to Brackenridge. I don't have a site map, and I don't remember the exact configuration of the train. We were at the Allegheny Ludlum Plant. |
