Thank You "V"! I couldn't retire without having Dick Ballard visually with me
during the last few weeks of my career! He was very influential in guiding me
down the right path!

Best wishes for a great retirement Steve and thanks for holding my hand on yard jobs when I was a newbie and thanks for the comic relief from the U.P. 41 l/2 years is pretty impressive. I had that much but in two different jobs. Only did 21 on the railroad but loved most of it until you know who took over. I look forward to seeing your input on this forum in the future.

Going to miss you Plug ! I have known you for all of the 41 1/2 years...I will always smile when I think of the triumphant of you Hubert Q and the Puttner ! talk about a comedy show that kept us all awake at midnight ! What is Charlie Ben Landen going to do without you ???? Wish you a long and happy retirement !!!

Steve! The railroad grapevine said you were gonna pull the pin soon, guess it is finally here. Thanks for your help there at Gemco quite a few years ago now. Mr. Starship, any plans for a Train-Trek revival? I still know the actor guy who played Captain Kirk!
Please oh please tell us some stories!
Have a great retirement,
Brian.

If Paul lays off before you go, I'll probably catch you. If not, I know I'll see you before you go.

Steven,

You hired out about the time I made my first trip up the Shasta Route! (It was a much different railroad back then wasn't it?) All the best for a great -- an long -- retirement!
