I hesitate to post in this board as I am not a rail, but I picked up this slide of 4449 in Washington DC dated 28 September 1976. Couldn't help but wonder if you were the photographer?

No, not me (I would have used my limited power and removed the sine on the step! God knows I took bigger liberties than that now and again)
Nice shot though. This was on the spur next to the Pentagon. (I've included a photo I took from the bridge in the background) The T-1 would have been just out of the frame to the right.
