I'm somewhat surprised that not a word has been mentioned here about the moving celebration of life dedicated to the late Metrolink/Amtrak/Santa Fe veteran engineer Glenn Steele last Sunday at LAUPT.  Speakers included Engineer Rosie Ellis, conductors Dennis Querio and Gerry Belyeau, as well as Glenn's Son and daughter.  It was very moving.  I believe much of it has been posted on Youtube.

It was announced several posts down in this thread: http://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?4,3680676 but I wish it had been posted in its own thread. I didn't see it until a few days later and it was too late for me to change my schedule. Thanks for the YouTube tip. I will watch these today.

The YouTube video shows how many friends Glenn had and how much they appreciated him.

I'm overwhelmed by the loss to his family, his friends and the railroad.

I just don't have the words to express my sadness or to offer consolation.
