Anyone recognize the two fellows from Taylor Yard in January 1976?

Cheers,
Jack

Can't help on the ID's, Jack - but I sure remember the consist! I got there later when one of the line poles was casting a shadow on the side of the 3197.

Great shots!

The fellow on the 3197 is Harry Walters, Hostler.  He had a hostler helpers date in 1954 and 'took promotion' Outside Hostler in 1973.
Never was a fireman or engineer which is not a comment about Harry, it's just that he hired out to be a hostler helper and stayed
in that craft,  AFIK. I think I worked with him once. Can't help on the other pic.

Sure you can't help on the other one, Charlie? I worked with Harry several times around the SP Taylor roundhouse in the two months I went in the yard in 1976.

Virlon, as I recall they were pretty busy that day and other than a couple of pleasantries we did not talk.

Cheers,
Jack

Especially making up that photo shoot set and everything pour out of Taylor to run.
