In the late 50's during the summer perishable season, a 20 car or so solid REA reefer train would barrel thru Stockton in the late
afternoon. I was told it was a solid strawberry train for east coast markets. (Remember the Ogden Agreement!!) What made this
train special to all of us was the power. Always a 4800 class FM Trainmaster. Never saw any other power on it!
