Eastern Railroad Discussion > Lackawanna Cutoff in NJDate: 03/10/05 12:17 Lackawanna Cutoff in NJ Author: BlackWidow What is the latest word in rebuilding the Lackawanna Cutoff for NYC to Scranton passenger service?
Date: 03/10/05 18:59 Re: Lackawanna Cutoff in NJ Author: Lackawanna484 Same as before. Engineering and enviro studies are continuing, official word seems to be "2007" while the whisper is now 2010. The likely date pushes out a year every year. It started out as 1995.
