Eastern Railroad Discussion > Track Warrant QuestionDate: 06/14/05 07:13 Track Warrant Question Author: Railyard I've been listening to the LIRC on the scanner the past couple of days, which has caused me to have a question on track warrants.
At the end of the track warrant, there are three letter-number combinations. I've always assumed that they pertained to the train, but for the past two days, all of the track warrants that I have heard have the same combination. The combination is: A-7, B-0, Y-10 What do these three values mean? I've googled it and can't find a thing about it. Thanks! Brian Date: 06/14/05 16:14 Re: Track Warrant Question Author: Red The three letters repeated at the end of a track warrant are the dispatcher's initials who is giving out the track warrant. This is an important part of the track warrant....initials of the issuing dispatcher.

The letter-number combinations are something different. BTW, today's track warrants have changed to A-7,B-0,Y-11 |
