Heads Up Russell and CSX Northern Sub

Called at 11 AM at CSX's Parsons Yard in Columbus Oh is an eastbound loaded grain train with a patched Rio Grande SD50 #9859 in the middle of the consist. The lead unit is CSX 5240 and the ex Rio Grande SD50 is right behind it. You fans along the Northern Sub and in Russell Ky might want to be on the lookout for this ex Rio Grande unit.

Hopefully, it will make it east of Russell all the way into Virginia. This Rio Grande Unit was down this way last week w/many of us missing it!

Train didn't leave Columbus until 1400. A large amount of the Northern was in code fail today so he is probably not to Russell yet.
