I believe it gets stored at Hawthorne for the duration of the shows, but that is a long way from downtown for the elephants to walk.
Practice SAFE CSX Date: 09/13/06 20:37 Re: Circus Train coming to Indy Author: PennCentral00 After the train is yarded at Hawthorne they take the animal cars downtown and unload them and then they are brought back(empty)to Hawthorne.Animals such as tigers and lions are transported by truck due to new federal regulations.
