gp60&gp38-2 on NS H47

Right now I'm listening to the sweet sound of Ns 7125 Gp-60 and NS 5644 GP38-2 Shifting the Atlas Chemical plant Here at Mertztown, Pa on NS Reading Line MP 20. When they are done here they will be heading for Topton &Lyons. Maybe an Alert Local Railfan can catch them down the line and photo them. I can't take their picture cause I'm working. They are coupled back to back with the 5644 on the head end. they sound really good.

You're pretty lucky. The only rail related activity I can watch from work is the sumac growing between the rails of the ex Reading Bethlehem Branch! I can tell you it doesn't sound near as sweet.

The only railroad action I had today was hearing the 44tonner come into Kutztown, PA while I was at work unloading an ice truck.
