NS 64N with some ex CR blue
Author: FEC2000

Caught NS 64N just West of Alliance, OH on the Cleveland Line near RT 183 today with one of the few remaining ex CR units still in blue. 64N took the scenic route East of Alliance this afternoon, they are on the Bayard Branch heading to Yellow Creek.

Used 5420 many a day pulling rock out of the local pit. We all loved the SD50s for rock.

Did you actually hear the symbol...since the only tank trains I saw listed were oil trains 64N and 64D

Yes, and now we also have:
64D, 64N, 62J oil loads east and 65D, 65N, 63J mts west. You can't assume a tank train is ethanol anymore. Wednesday, a 64N oil train ran with almost all ADMX ethanol tanks. They obviously will need to be cleaned well if they go back to ethanol traffic
