Roanoke NRHS Excursion 11.10.12
Author: railrider

A few pics from the 11.10.12 excursion between Roanoke and Bristol VA. I chased it from Wytheville to Bristol and partly back East. Got a bonus at the Washington siding where a freight was holding for Amtrak and another eastbound. By then, Amtrak was long gone so I headed home.

1. Wytheville VA
2. Atkins, VA

Thanks for posting the photos of the excursion.

Aren't there normally more leaves on the trees in Virginia at this time of year or do your photos show typical early November scenes in Virginia?

Leaves usually on the downside in the previous trips in this time slot, also.
