#1 Photo 38-G #8443 in lead passing Reading Station in Pottstown Pa.

#2 Photo. As I checked the old PRR track a block to the South I found the Local sitting there.
#5303 clean and looking good. Lots of ties along track. Looks like almost all ties will be
replaced. I noticed a new customer on line,might be the reason for new ties.

NS opened a new TBT off Keim Street in August 2011. Traffic was off for a while but several customers have moved in hence the need for now daily local service on the Pottstown Industrial and the reason for it being T&Sed (Tie & Surfaced).

Heres a photo I took of my completed project. Keim street is in the foreground and we are looking West towards Stowe Yard and the connection with the Reading main.

Love this set of pics. What industry is served by that yard? Looks lke trucks or vehicles can easily pull up next to track.

The other day I saw about 12 covered hoppers and a couple of bulk trucks in that new yard.
