Our first snow of the season,three inches here in Luzerne county, PA. NS train 258 on the Canadian Pacific Sunbury Sub. at Oak St. Pittston, Twp.

good thing the road with that grade wasn't iced over or that dump might've been part of the consist ... nice photo

I had that thought, too.

Train should be CP #258, with NS power.

252 - replacement for 458 (NS 11R). With CP's new operating plan on the Sunbury Sub they extended 252/253 through to Sunbury & Enola (replacing 458/459). Still 11R/12R on NS.

No idea where this location is, but driving home across I-80 on Sunday, there was a similiar snowfall in NW PA over the weekend, but thankfully, the road was clear and not a hindrance at all.
