It formerly belonged to Reserve Mining. Along with two ex-SP bay window cabooses, it was purchased and restored by IHB in 2007.

IHB had an assignment that went on duty at Blue Island and among other things shoved into Mittal steel , next to CSX Barr yard , and pulled loads and spotted empties. they always had a caboose for a shove platform.
