I know we've had some information here by (me and) others about the re-opening of the former Pufferbelly /later called the Depot restaurant on Depot street in Berea. I though I'd provide a link to their website so you can check out the menu. I hope this locally born and raise owner has much success. The food and atmosphere is excellent and prices reasonable. Check it out. I can't believe they have been closed for 4 years. Time flies.

We were up there twice when it was The Depot. May have to check it out again. Is the menu similar?

Actually the menu has differed from the last owner; food was quite impressive though as I had lunch with the man I consider my "second father" there this past Saturday. We had the grilled meatloaf sandwich, topped with Applewood smoked bacon, cheddar cheese and barbecue sauce served open faced on a piece of sourdough bread with a side of shoestring french fries. Also had a drink too. Price was about ten dollars. Was very good...

That sounds like a great deal for ten bucks.

We have been there 3 times since they opened. Great food, service, and atmosphere. Unfortunately, CSX traffic was nearly non-existent on the closest set of tracks around lunchtime.

Menu a bit pricy! I find most in our field are tightwads.
