Eastern Railroad Discussion > CaterParrot Railnet Track Upgrades and Clean UpDate: 12/12/12 19:30 CaterParrot Railnet Track Upgrades and Clean Up Author: GeorgiaRailfan31602 Hello all,
I have some photos and plan on getting more soon of the ex-GFRR now CaterParrot Railnet line in southern Georgia. This is what it looks like in Willacoochee, Georgia. It used to be overgrown with the crossings paved over and ending at the location photographed. Now it stretches nearly to where the Pearson Sub used to cross it years ago. Wonder if there are plans for more business and the space was needed? Anyone with info please feel free to chime in. Photo 1: Looking south from the road crossing that the tracks used to end at. Photo 2: The redone crossing with rails once again across the road. Photo 3: Looking north towards Willacoochee and with newly worked on track and rails with equipment in sight. Thanks, Allan R. Williams Jr. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 12/12/12 19:30 by GeorgiaRailfan31602.
