Wondering what the rail scene is down there and what are the spots to hit.

CSX has a major yard there (Howell Yard I believe). Also, the Indiana Southern terminates at Evansville. It cobbled together former NYC and PRR branches to form an Indy-Evansville route. I believe it's a Rail America operation.
Date: 12/14/12 07:57 Re: Evansville, IN Questions Author: tjm6515 I havn't been to E-ville in a decade, but once was on trains into & out of Howell Yard. Main attraction is Rahm, IN with the long approach to the Ohio River Bridge. IIRC public roads skirt the east & west side of the yards.
