Good Morning:

How many trains per day to and from the western railroads only change crews in Chicago and travel straight to North Baltimore, OH? Also, where do these trains originate on the western carriers?

Just the Q172 from the BNSF. Not sure where it originates from.

Q172 off the BNSF originates in Los Angelas and runs as Q-LACCXO. Picks up/Sets out at Logistics Park, IL. It counterpart is Q171 runs as Q-CHILAC on the BNSF. Both crew change at Ft. Madison on the BNSF and CSX gets on in Chicago.

The QCHILAC isn't the continuation of Q171. A lot of the stuff off of Q171 gets picked up by the QNYCLAC train and the SLPCLAC train at Logistics Park. Some of the traffic may also go elsewhere, but I'm not sure. There are also eastbound trains out of the Pacific NW that have a CXO symbol, so there's that variable as well.

I've looked up the Q17117. 8L 10mtys, head 14 (4L 10 mty) show to Corwith Ill, with the loads all with different destinations in CA. the other 4 loads are showing destin To Los Angeles CA.
