Restored RR Depots
Author: JET

The attachment is a photo taken of the Vandalia RR freight station that was located on the north side of Logansport, IN. The depot is now located in the downtown area. Are there any other Trainorders members that have photos of restored RR freight or passenger stations and are willing to post them? It would be interesting to compare the different styles of architecture for each RR.

Post away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

John

This is the Winamac, Indiana PRR station north of Logansport complete with Erie caboose C301 beside it. I was tempted to post my shot of the Logansport station taken on the east side, that is a nice looking station.Have a good and safe day.

Here is a postcard from Thief River Falls, MN. The depot is now used as the city hall and is lovingly restored. Also out front is former Monon-Soo Line Mikado steam engine!

As I understand it it, this structure was never a depot but was a yard office that was remodeled into the style of a depot.
